New results on finite time stability for nonlinear fractional order large scale systems with time varying delay and interconnections

This paper investigates finite-time stability problem of a class of interconnected fractional order large-scale systems with time-varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. Based on a generalized Gronwall inequality, a sufficient condition for finite-time stability of such systems is established in terms of the Mittag-Leffler function.

Enhancing car ride comfort using a balanced controller design for semi - active suspension system

The main idea of this method is that the force of the controlled damping will change, so that the magnitude of the force is equal to that of the spring, but the direction of the forces is the opposite. This will reduce the vertical acceleration of the vehicle body. The simulation results in the time domain have been clearly shown by using the balance control methods. The root mean square of the vertical displacement, pitch angle and their accelerations decrease by 25-50%, compared to the passive suspension system.

Data mining on information system using fuzzy rough set theory

In addition to traditional exploiting information methods, researchers have developed attribute reduction methods to reduce the size of the data space and eliminate irrelevant attributes. Our attribute reduction is based on the dependence between attributes in traditional rough set theory and in fuzzy rough set. The author built the tool which is inclusion degree and tolerance-based contingency table to solve the problem of finding the approximation set on set-valued information systems.

Existence and uniqueness of solution for generalization of fractional bessel type process

The real financial models such as the short term interest rates, the log-volatility in Heston model are very well modeled by a fractional Brownian motion. This fact raises a question of developing a fractional generalization of the classical processes such as Cox - Ingersoll - Ross process, Bessel process. In this paper, we are interested in the fractional Bessel process (Mishura, YurchenkoTytarenko, 2018).

Waste to energy: Investigation of characteristics and thermal behaviors of wastes

Results showed that these wastes had a high potential for use in energy conversion technologies. Plastic waste had the highest value for volatile matter and calorific value. Meanwhile, bagasse and textile wastes had a very low ash content, suitable for thermal processes. TGA-DTG analysis showed that the thermal decomposition of bagasse and textile wastes were relatively similar, expressed in three stages: dehydration, volatile matter decomposition, and char oxidation.
