Nghiên cứu này xem xét vai trò của sự quan tâm trong việc hình thành sự trung thành của người tiêu dùng đối với các sản phẩm cá bằng việc kiểm định các mô hình mà đề nghị rằng sự quan tâm có thể giữ vai trò là một tiền tố, một biến số trung gian từng phần hoặc toàn phần cho quan hệ giữa các biến số TPB - sự thỏa mãn, ảnh hưởng xã hội và kiểm soát hành vi- và sự trung thành.

Bệnh hoại tử thần kinh ở cá biển nuôi tại Khánh Hòa
Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm khẳng định tình trạng nhiễm bệnh hoại tử thần kinh ở cá biển nuôi tại biển Khánh Hòa. Kết quả kiểm tra mô bệnh học ở những cá hấp hối cho thấy sự có mặt của các không bào hình tròn hoặc hình oval ở mắt và não cá bệnh với kích cỡ thay đổi từ 4-30µm. Điều này khẳng định sự có mặt của virus gây bệnh hoại tử thần kinh ở cá biển nuôi tại Khánh Hòa.

Nghiên cứu tinh sạch chitosan từ phế liệu tôm

Nghiên cứu bệnh mòn vây, cụt đuôi ở cá mú - Epinephelus spp nuôi ở Khánh Hòa
Bài viết trình bày về kết quả nghiên cứu bệnh mòn vây cụt đuôi ở cá mú (Epinephelus spp và Cromileptes altivelis) nuôi lồng và nuôi đìa tại tỉnh Khánh Hòa của nhóm nghiên cứu từ Trường Đại học Nha Trang. Nghiên cứu này tập trung tìm hiểu một số đặc điểm dịch tễ và bước đầu tìm hiểu tác nhân gây ra bệnh này.

Phân tích một số nhân tố tác động đến doanh thu nghề lưới rê thu ngừ tại Nha Trang
Bài viết đã trình bày những nhân tố về đặc điểm kỹ thuật của tàu và ngư cụ tác động đến doanh thu như thế nào dựa trên bộ dữ liệu 60 mẫu nghiên cứu trong năm 2005. Qua 2 mô hình nghiên cứu ta thấy các nhân tố có thể ảnh hưởng đến sự thay đổi doanh thu bao gồm: Chiều dài tàu, đặc điểm ngư cụ khai thác, đầu tư trang thiết bị và tuổi của tàu.

Diversity of fish in Hau river, Mekong delta, Vietnam
The study on diversity of fish in the Hau River was continuously implemented during 12 months (July, 2011 to June, 2012) at An Giang (upstream), Can Tho (middle stream) and Soc Trang (downstream). At each area, sampling was conducted at 2 sites (main river and its tributary) using the main fishing gear as trawl net in combination with other available fishing years such as gill nets, fixed nets, lift nets… and at the local fish markets.

Distribution and phylogenetic relationships of snappers (Lutjanidae) based on mitochondrial DNA sequences
The phylogram also showed an integration of morphologic and genetic characters in clear sub-clades. Continued sampling of commercial fish species and classification based on morphology and genetics to build DNA barcoding of fish species in Vietnam is necessary.

Comparison of growth and water quality and effective of white leg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei, Boone, 1931) cultured in a system with tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in Tan Phu Dong district, Tien Giang province, Vietnam
The ability of tilapia to improve water quality in an intensive shrimp farming system was studied with white leg shrimp, the shrimp were cultured in intensive system with two treatments, one combined with tilapia and two without tilapia. The purpose of study was to evaluate water quality fluctuation and yield of cultured shrimp between the treatments. The study was carried out from May to August, 2014 at Phu Tan Commune, Tan Phu Dong District, Tien Giang Province.

Evaluation of reducing shrimp feed in culture of white leg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) using biofloc technology
The study was conducted from 2013 December – 2014 February at the wetlab in College of Aquacultire and Fisheries, Can Tho University. A 2-month feeding trial was carried out to evaluate the ability of using biofloc to reduce shrimp feed in PL of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei).

Effects of ascorbic acid treatment and packaging method on lipid oxidation of Cobia (Rachycentron canadum) fillets during frozen storage
The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of different ascorbic acid (AA) concentrations of 0.25% and 0.50% as well as different packaging methods (i.e. air packaging and vacuum packaging methods) on lipid oxidation of cobia fillets during frozen storage at -25 ± 2 °C for 8 weeks.

The effect of salinity on growth performance and osmoregulation of striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypopthalmus)
Striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) occur in freshwater and brackish water bodies in Asian countries. However, there are few published papers on the effects of salinity on the physiological characteristics of the striped catfish although seawater levels are predicted to increase in the future.

Wastewater treatment in the hybrid biological reactor: Effeects of hydraulic retention time and oxygen supply on total nitrogen removal and nitrification
A hybrid biological reactor (HBR) which contained both suspended- and attached-growth biomass was developed by introducing sponge materials into a regular activated sludge unit and used for the treatment of seafood processing wastewater.

Process of environmetal water quality in O Loan lagoon, Phu Yen province
The paper represents some aspects of the water quality in O Loan lagoon. Two surveys were performed in March and July, 2014 - dry season, and October and November, 2014- rainy season. Due to specificity of O Loan lagoon with narrow estuary, capacity of water exchange is low. A shortage of dissolved oxygen (DO) has led to the pollution of lagoon water quality (4.4.mg/l in dry season and 5.5 mg/l in rainy season).

Biogas production from corn (Zea mays) stalks: Effects of size
The results show that using corn stalks in size 8 - 10 cm produced more biogas than other sizes. Using corn stalks for biogas production help farmers improve their life conditions.

Population genetics of white nest swiftlet aerodramus fuciphagus in Vietnam
This study aimed to construct phylogenetic trees to subspecies of swiftlet, thereby detecting and determining the phylogenetic relationships of swiftlet populations in geographical areas in Vietnam, provide the data for the conservation, sustainable exploitation of the bird nest resources.

Water resource variation in the Hau river mouth
This aquatic ecosystem is the interface between upstream freshwater flow and saltwater tidal flow, creating unique aquatic habitats with significant socio-economic importance. The area is densely populated, with many people highly reliant on aquatic ecosystem productivity and related aquaculture cultivation. This study examines changes to water resources in the Hau River mouth based on hydrological variation analysis.

Callus induction of kappaphycus alvarezii collected from Khanh Hoa province by tissue culture
Tissue culture techniques were applied for inducing callus of the red alga Kappaphycus alvarezii. The objective of this study was to obtain the optimal medium for callus induction from thallus explants of Kappaphycus alvarezii. Seaweed was collected from the Van Phong Bay (Khanh Hoa Province) and then was acclimatized in greenhouse and in semi-sterile culture in the laboratory.

A case study on cooperative adaptive fisheries management and research: 25 years of university agency collaboration in Puerto Rico
This paper describes the cooperative relationships developed over 25 years between the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER) and several research universities in the continental USA as they relate to freshwater reservoir fisheries. Puerto Rico has few native freshwater species and all are diadromous.

Bacterial diversity in penaeid shrimp hepatopancreas revealed by metagenome analysis
Early mortality syndrome (EMS) or acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) is an emerging disease reported recently that has caused massive loss to saline shrimp aquaculture. EMS/AHPND was recognized in Vietnam since 2011 and up to now its adverse effect is still serious to shrimp industry nationwide. Determination of the main pathogenic factor and the role of other microbial candidates is a very important study.

Digenean diversity of reef fishes in Khanh Hoa province, Viet Nam
Coral reefs are massive areas of calcium carbonate in the oceans and are among the ecosystems having high biodiversity, including 700 coral species, 600 mollusks, and nearly 4,000 fishes. Research on the parasites that infect Vietnamese coral reef fish are limited. Examinations of 116 individuals of 9 reef fishes have been conducted to date.

Preliminary taxonomic review of wrasses species (Labridae) from Vietnam with an integration of morphological and molecular data
The purpose of this study is a taxonomic review of the family Labridae distributed in Vietnam. Currently, 11 species belong to Cheilinus, Halichoeres, Iniistius, Scarus, and Oxycheilinus are described based on morphological characters. Combined with Genbank sequences, a phylogenetic tree was constructed based on 16S gene of mitochondrial DNA. A comprehensive survey and checklist update of Labridae in Vietnam is necessary.

Parasites of goatfishes (Parupeneus spp.) in Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam, preliminary results
In this study, 2 goatfish species (P. multifasciatus and P. heptacanthus) were collected at Nha Trang and Cam Ranh Bay (Vietnam), and examined for parasites. So far, based on morphological features, 9 parasite species have been documented: 2 monogeneans (Haliotrema sp., Bothitrema sp.).

A review of Kudoa species (myxozoa, multivalvulida) affecting seafood quality, with emphasis on K. thyrsites in atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus)
Members of the multivalvulid myxozoan genus Kudoa occur in many marine teleosts worldwide. Several species are of concern to fishery and aquaculture since they cause post-mortem myoliquefaction of the somatic fish muscle, commonly known as ‘soft flesh’.

Tách chiết collagen từ da cá tra (Pangasius hypophthalmus) bằng phương pháp hóa học
Mục đích của nghiên cứu này là bước đầu xây dựng quy trình thu nhận collagen từ da cá tra ở Việt Nam bằng phương pháp hoá học. Nghiên cứu này sẽ đề xuất được quy trình tách chiết collagen và xác định một số tính chất cơ bản của sản phẩm collagen.
