In this paper we prove the well-posedness of weak solutions to a semilinear heat equation with memory and the nonlinearity f of exponential type by the Galerkin approximation and compactness method. The main novelty of our result is that no restriction on the growth of the nonlinearities is imposed.

Rectilinear motion is a motion along a straight line, and can therefore be described mathematically using only one spatial dimension. The rectilinear motion can be of two types: uniform linear motion with constant velocity or zero acceleration; non uniform linear motion with variable velocity or non-zero acceleration. In this chapter introduce the rates of change and rectilinear motion, inviting you refer.

In this concept, you will learn to find the optimal value of a function that is associated with an optimization problem. At this point, you know how to analyze a function to find its minima and maxima using the first and second derivatives. This is a big deal! Finding the solution to some real-world problem (such as in finance, science, and engineering) often involves a process of finding the maximum or minimum of a function within an acceptable region of values.

This can be stated symbolically as F′ = f. The process of solving for antiderivatives is called antidifferentiation (or indefinite integration) and its opposite operation is called differentiation, which is the process of finding a derivative.

In mathematical analysis, the intermediate value theorem states that if a continuous function, f, with an interval, [a, b], as its domain, takes values f(a) and f(b) at each end of the interval, then it also takes any value between f(a) and f(b) at some point within the interval.
