They should have catalogued the organisms that live in it and the physical environment that provides the resources organisms need to survive; These resources include water; soil; the appropriate temperature; gases, such as carbon dioxide and oxygen; organic and inorganic nutrients; sunlight; and shelter. they should have observed that organisms in an ecosystem may cooperate or compete for these resources and that these interactions can vary.

Suggestions of the SHG women members to strengthen the activities of the SHG

Self-Help Group is a small voluntary association of poor people preferably the same socio-economic back drop. The micro- credit given to them to start enterprises and it can be for all women and all men group. However, it has been the experience that women’s groups perform better in all the important activities of SHGs but SHG women had suggested some suggestions for improvement in the performance of the SHGs and their activities. The most important suggestions offered by the respondents to overcome the constraints were; training programmes should be arranged on online system, there should be any permanent transportation facility for SHG and marketing facility should be improved.

Relationship between gender age and extent awareness, knowledge about ICT tools and problems faced in access and using ICT tools

The study was conducted in Azamgarh district of eastern Uttar Pradesh; it included two villages (HirnaiGullygarh and Khalishpur), one medical college and one block (Bilariyaganj Block). A total of 150 respondents including 60 farmers (30 male and 30 female) 70 students (35 male and 35 female) and 20 employees (10 male and 10 female) were selected for the study from two villages, two colleges and one block respectively.

A comparative analysis on profile and problems of Soliga and Kuruba tribal youths

The present study was conducted in Heggadadevanakote and Hunsurtaluks in Mysore district and Gundlupet and Kollegaltaluks in Chamarajanagar district in Karnataka during 2017-2018 to know the profile and problems of Soliga and Kruba tribal youths. Eighty Soliga tribal youth from two taluks of Chamarajanagar district and 80 Kuruba tribal youth from two taluks of Mysore district formed the sample of the study.

Socio-economic and educational background of the respondents of Madurai city

A study was carried out in Madurai, a tier-II city of Tamil Nadu with the objective to study the social and educational background of the respondents. Determinants influencing for job satisfaction of the subject matter specialists

The research investigation was conducted in Western Vidarbha Zone of Maharashtra State with 48 Subject Matter Specialists working under the eight Krishi Vigyan Kendra to know their job satisfaction. The study revealed that slightly above half (54.17%) of the SMSs were satisfied with their job, whereas nearly one third (35.42%) quoted extreme satisfaction while one tenth (10.41%) were not satisfied with their job. The item-wise job satisfaction mean index of the SMSs were calculated and it revealed that, self-esteem (85.83%), opportunity of help others (84.17%), use of talents (82.08%), opportunity to do challenging job (81.67%) and opportunity to do many things (81.25%) were the prime job satisfaction factors quoted by the SMSs.

Socio-economic development of women through watershed development programme

Watershed development programme has been aimed at active involvement of the people in all the stages in the implementation process including fund utilization. The study therefore attempted to assess the extent of development of the watershed women. A sample of 192 watershed women involved in the programme were randomly selected from 24 watersheds covering two blocks each in Sundargarh and Keonjhar districts of Odisha. The findings revealed that the respondents were agreed for the developments in farm activities and technological backstopping in comparison to infrastructural, social and economic developments.

Effects of socio-economic and occupation on beneficiary and non-beneficiary water-shed management catchment areas in the state of Nagaland, India

The present study to access the socio-economic aspects of beneficiaries and non-beneficiary on watershed management implemented with especial reference to the purpose in selected both districts from the Nagaland state viz; Dimapur and Kohima; as both were selected purposely due to the maximum number of area covered under watershed in the zone further two blocks from each district were randomly selected, which was finally having 8 numbers of watersheds areas were selected. In the second stage of sampling a multi stage random sampling was used for the selection of beneficiary and non-beneficiary viz; 160 respondents (80 beneficiaries and 80 non-beneficiaries) were selected randomly from identified watershed areas. Further the beneficiaries were doing primary, secondary and tertiary occupation on small and medium group, were as large were engaged as primary and secondary occupation only.
