Water level prediction at Tich Bui rivers using guided regularized random forests
Three main approaches have been generally proposed to the flood forecasting including: i) physical models, ii) statistical models and iii) data-driven models. The first approaches, also called hydraulic models, aims to reproduce the hydrological processes in a physically realistic manner and is based on mathematical formulas of conservation of mass, momentum and energy.
