WorldDSL™ Two-Pair T1 Fixed-Rate HDSL WorldDSL is ADC’s line of high-speed HDSL access devices specifically designed for the diverse telecommunications needs of global markets. Ideal for telco and enterprise networks, WorldDSL products comply with international standards to ensure compatibility, performance and safety within your network environment. The LTU-/NTU-814s are the latest WorldDSL products that provide two-pair T1 fixed rate HDSL and can be installed at the CO or the customer premises. The LTU-/NTU-814s can be part of a fully managed system. Using a VT100 compatible terminal or a PC, they can be managed via their local craft ports or centrally via a management card installed in a CO shelf. The user may also select ADC`s SNMP management software running under Windows to provision the system, collect alarm and performance data, and conduct diagnostic tests either locally or from a remote management station. In any of these modes, both ends of the circuit can be programmed and managed through the CO, minimizing travel to the customer site. Features: ·Central office or customer premises use ·HDSL output compliant with TS101135 ·Fiber optic quality (BER 10-10) ·ETSI compliant HDSL to ensure crosstalk compatibility in the wire bundle ·Single pair mode with a max. rate of 768 kbps ·User software selectable dataport interface ·Timeslot priority mode: failure of one HDSL pair automatically switches the first 12 channels to the operating pair ·LTU`s can provide line powering for up to two doublers for longer reach ·LTU`s can provide wetting current to reduce corrosion of connections ·User software mapping of G.703/704 and data ports to the HDSL ·Downloadable programs from ADC’s Web Site for easy unit upgrade ·Compatible with ADC`s standard line of WorldDSL enclosures and chassis O r d e r i n g I n f o r m a t i o n Catalog Number LTU-814A NTU-814A Part Number 150-1420-44A 150-1420-54A Line Powering/ Wetting Current provides both locally or line-powered User Interface G.703/704 and V.35/V.36/RS-530/X.21 ports G.703/704 and V.35/V.36/RS-530/X.21 ports HDSL Interface T1 Interface Line Code: 2B1Q Line Rate: 848 kbps on each pair Range: see chart at right Connector: DB9F (adapters available) Protection: ITU-T K.20 and K.21 compliant Compliance: ETSI TS101135 and ITU-T G.991.1 Line Code: AMI or B8ZS Data Rate: Nx64k, k=1 to 24 Impedance: 100 Ω balanced Framing: SF (D4), ESF or unstructured Connector: D15F WorldDSL Rate/Reach Chart RANGE (KILOMETERS) 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 MAXIMUM TYPICAL MINIMUM Data Interface User software selectable as: V.35, V.36, RS-530, X.21 Connector: D25F (adapters available) Timing: internal, external, Nx64k, HDSL Compliance: Net 2 2 1 WIRE SIZE 0 0.40 mm 0.51 mm 0.61 mm 0.91 mm Max.
