This study investigates the structural metaphors used in the source language from Graham Greene’s novel “The Quiet American”. The study was conducted with the qualitative aspects of the data and analytic, synthetic method based on the theoretical framework about metaphors of George Lakoff and Mark Johnson (1980) and Kovecses (2002).
