•Binoculars/telescope–tohelpyougetabetter viewofobjectsinthenightsky,althoughmostof thestarsinthisguidecanbeseenwithoutthem.
•Aredtorch–sothatyoucanstillreadyourStar Guidewithoutaffectingyournightvision.You couldadaptanormaltorchusingredcellophane orusearearbicyclelight.
•Apps–therearemanyfreeappsavailablefor mobiledevicesthatutiliseinbuiltGPStohelp navigatethenightsky.
•Acompass–soyouknowwhichdirection you’refacing.

1 Chooseaclearnightandfindanoutsidespace –ideallyawayfromtallbuildingsandbright lights.Itcouldbeanywherefromyourback gardentoalocalpark.
