I. Introduction: The lesson belongs to Unit 6. Can you speak English? of New Headway elementary book. It introduces the basic knowledge about the usage of can/can’t/ could, to be in past “was/were”, vocabulary about “countries”, reading about “talented teenagers”, writing formal letters.
II. Aims:
1. Knowledge:
Knowing how to use present simple.
Understanding the vocabulary about leisure activities. Reading about my favorite season
Enhancing writing skill: an informal letter. 2. Skill:
Reading the vocabulary fluently. Practicing speaking skill.
Practicing listening skill 3. Attitude:
Paying attention to the lesson.
Contributing the ideas to the lesson. Working in groups enthusiastically.
III. Preparation: 1. Teacher:
Curriculum: For students at Tay Nguyen School – Full time. Teaching program: New Headway Elementary.
