Integrating communicative activities into TOEIC preparation courses
The goal of this paper is to review the debate about current TOEIC preparation practices and suggest a balance between test scores and communicative teaching in EFL classrooms. Based on the Metacognitive Approach proposed by Yi-Ching Pan, the paper suggests that integrating video, role-play and correspondence writing can prove highly beneficial in such test preparation.
