- GIỚI THIỆU - INTRODUCTION • N gày nay Tiếng Anh và Web là hai công cụ cần thiế t để hỗ trợ đắc lực cho công tá c nghiệp vụ T hông tin - Thư viện. Người cán bộ thư viện và quản li thông tin sử dụng kĩ năng Tiếng Anh để khai thác và chọn lọc thông tin và sử dụng công nghệ W eb để xử lí và trình bày thông tin. Hơn nữa, người cán bộ thư viện và sinh viên ngành Thông tin - Thư viện phải sử dụng thành thạo Tiếrtg Anh để tạo điều kiện cho việc đào tạo và tái đào tạo nhằm bắt Kịp nhịp phát triển nhanh chóng của ngành Thông tin - Thư việ n trên thế giới - C húng ta h ọ c Tiếng A n h đ ể s ử dụng Tiếng Anh. Chương trình Tiếng Anh chuyên ngành dành cho sinh viên nói chung và sinh viên ngành Thông tin - Thư viện nói riêng nhằm ba m ục tiêu chính: 1. C ủng cố và hệ thống hóa kiến thức ngữ pháp; 2. Phát triển m ột số vốn thuật ngữ chuyên ngành; 3. T ăng cường kĩ năng đọc và hiểu. Nội dung gồm có hai phần : Phần 1 : "E sse n tia l P ra ctice G ra m m a r: Verbs a n d S e n te n ce s - N g ữ p h á p th ự c h à n h th iế t yế u : Đ ộ n g từ và C â u" bao gồm 46 tiêu đề phản ánh ngữ pháp cần th iế t nhất, đặc biệt nhấn mạnh giải thích những công cụ giúp dựng câu (sentence) và đọc hiểu câu.
