Hoạt động thể lực (HĐTL) trong thời kỳ mang thai đã được chứng minh là mang lại nhiều lợi ích sức khỏe cho cả mẹ và thai nhi. Tuy nhiên, tỷ lệ HĐTL trong thai kỳ trên thế giới được báo cáo rất thấp. Bởi vì phần lớn phụ nữ lựa chọn giảm HĐTL và tăng thời gian nghỉ ngơi khi phát hiện mang thai. Mục tiêu: Xác định tỷ lệ HĐTL đủ theo khuyến nghị Đại học Sản phụ khoa Hoa Kỳ (ACOG) và các yếu tố liên quan ở phụ nữ mang thai.

Trầm cảm, lo âu là những dạng rối loạn tâm thần phổ biến ở phụ nữ mang thai. Hầu hết nghiên cứu tại Việt Nam về rối loạn tâm thần chu sinh chỉ tập trung vào trầm cảm sau sinh. Nghiên cứu về trầm cảm, lo âu ở phụ nữ mang thai còn hạn chế. Mục tiêu: Xác định tỷ lệ trầm cảm, lo âu và các yếu tố liên quan ở phụ nữ mang thai tại TP. Hồ Chí Minh.

Ngày nay, tình trạng quan hệ tình dục không an toàn ở sinh viên Việt Nam rất phổ biến, do đó việc tuyên truyền các biện pháp tránh thai phù hợp cho lứa tuổi này là hết sức quan trọng, để làm giảm tình trạng có thai ngoài ý muốn, nạo phá thai ở lứa tuổi thanh thiếu niên, các bệnh lây truyền đường tình dục. Bài viết nghiên cứu thực trạng về sức khỏe sinh sản ở sinh viên với mục tiêu khảo sát kiến thức, thái độ và hành vi về sức khỏe sinh sản của sinh viên và các yếu tố liên quan.

Despite the growing presence of menopausal women in workplaces, studies aimed at exploring the link between menopausal symptoms and job well-being are scarce. In the interest of addressing this gap, the present study aimed to explore whether menopausal symptoms might contribute to increased levels of burnout and whether this relationship can be moderated by social or personal resources.

Patients with breast cancer often exhibit high levels of anxiety and depression and a considerable decrease in their ability to participate in leisure activities, which result in the long-term disruption of their daily lives. This study intended to explore the relationships among anxiety, leisure constraints, and depression and evaluate whether depression mediates the effects of anxiety on leisure constraints in patients with breast cancer.

Intimate partner violence (IPV) against women is a global health problem that is a substantial source of human suffering. Within the United States (US), women veterans are at high risk for experiencing IPV. There is an urgent need for feasible, acceptable, and patient-centered IPV counseling interventions for the growing number of women treated in the US’s largest integrated healthcare system, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

Migrants experience stress before, during and after migrating to a new country, all of which influences their mental wellbeing. In Norway, migration from Thailand is highly gendered as most Thai migrants are women who migrate to live with their Norwegian spouse. Massage shops, often owned by Thai entrepreneurs, are a locale where women use their cultural knowledge to bridge into the local economy.

Unsafe abortion remains a reality for many Ethiopian women and will remain so until safe abortion is more accessible across the country. The house of representatives of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) revised the abortion law and Ministry of Health (MoH) of FDRE developed a revised technical and procedural guideline for safe abortion services in Ethiopia; emphasizing the need to increase knowledge and practice of health service providers on safe abortion care (SAC) and access to safe terminations of pregnancy at high standard and quality.

Cervical cancer was the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer related deaths in 2013 among women in Zambia. We determined factors associated with vaginal douching with any solution other than water and examined its role as a risk factor for abnormal cervical lesions among Zambian women.

Cerebellar ataxia affects individuals in reproductive age. To date, few clinical cases of cerebellar ataxia and involvement of the cerebellum in sexual response were reported. Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is a major public health problem with a relative high lifetime risk of surgery. The main risk factor for developing POP is vaginal birth. Many women become symptomatic later in life and most of the existing research on symptomatic pelvic organ prolapse (sPOP) predominantly concentrates on the effects of the condition on postmenopausal women.

Infection by HIV and other STIs and unplanned pregnancies are among the most serious problems associated with sexuality. Male and female condoms are the only dual-purpose devices to control both unplanned pregnancies and STIs, and studying people’s attitudes toward the use of these devices are excellent ways to predict their use.

There is a high prevalence of gender-based violence (GBV) victimization among young Ethiopian women, including in universities, where female enrollment is low but growing. Understanding factors contributing to GBV in this context and students’ perspectives on gender, relationships, and interpersonal violence is essential to creating effective interventions to prevent GBV and support female students’ rights and wellbeing.

Child marriage remains a challenge in Ghana. Over the years, government and development partners have made various commitments and efforts to curb the phenomenon of child marriage.
