Create relations for the gear parameters. From Part menu, select Relations - Add Enter the following: or DP = N/P pitch_dia_gear = no_gear_teeth/diametral_pitch Hit Enter key twice. Select Edit Rel and enter the following relations with a text editor. A = 1/P B = 1.25/P DA = DP + 2 * A DD = DP – 2 * B DB = DP * COS(PA) CP = PI/P FW = 3 * CP Save the file and exit the editor.
