Mô hình tìm kiếm bãi đỗ xe tối ưu sử dụng hệ thống đặt chỗ
Bài viết trình bày các vấn đề cơ bản của chính sách quản lý đỗ xe, các tiêu chí lựa chọn bãi đỗ xe. Tác giả đề xuất mô hình cung cấp thông tin bãi đỗ xe bao gồm: Vị trí, số chỗ trống, đường dẫn đến và đi khỏi vị trí đỗ xe. Với sự hỗ trợ của hệ thống đặt chỗ, mô hình tìm kiếm bãi đỗ tối ưu trong đô thị với các mục tiêu cơ bản về chi phí, thời gian có xét có xem xét khoảng cách đi bộ tối đa.

Ứng dụng ADS Civil Road, IHSDM hỗ trợ thiết kế yếu tố hình học đường và đánh giá mức độ an toàn giao thông của đường ô tô
ADS Civil Road là phần mềm hỗ trợ thiết kế hình học đường ô tô sau khi thiết kế phần mềm sẽ kết xuất dữ liệu dạng XML và đưa vào phần mềm IHSDM đánh giá an toàn giao thông. Bài viết trình bày các bước kỹ thuật khi thiết kế yếu tố hình học đường trên ADS và cách đánh giá an toàn giao thông trên IHSDM.

Nghiên cứu nhằm: (1) Phân tích đặc thù của xã hội đô thị để thấy rằng quản trị đô thị và quản lý ngân sách đô thị cần có sự khác biệt so với nông thôn; (2) Đánh giá thực trạng quản trị đô thị và quy chế tài chính ngân sách đặc thù - trường hợp TP.HCM; và (3) Đưa ra các khuyến nghị về phân cấp ngân sách và quản trị đô thị cho một đô thị lớn như TP.HCM, trong bối cảnh vận hành theo mô hình chính quyền đô thị.

Solutions for the front elevation arrangement of public buildings under the impact of air conditioning systems at the center of Thai Nguyen city
This phenomenon occurs throughout the provinces, cities, the scope of this article only mentioned and surveyed in the center of Thai Nguyen city. The problem to be solved is the behavior of front elevation arrangement under the changing of human’s demand in controlling microclimate in these buildings by air conditioning systems.

Trong thời gian qua do tác động của quá trình phát triển đô thị, giá đất ở của thành phố đã có những biến động đáng kể. Việc nghiên cứu các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến giá đất ở đây có ý nghĩa quan trọng cho việc định giá đất và quản lý đất đai tại địa phương.

Xác định vị trí vạch dừng hợp lý trong nút giao thông điều khiển bằng tín hiệu đèn cho một số nhóm nút ở đô thị miền Trung Việt Nam
Trên cơ sở các kết quả nghiên cứu lý thuyết, tiêu chuẩn, quy trình và kinh nghiệm của các nước trên thế giới về việc bố trí vạch dừng trong nút giao thông điều khiển bằng tín hiệu đèn, kết hợp với kết quả khảo sát thực nghiệm về tình hình sử dụng, bố trí vạch dừng trong loại hình nút giao thông này ở các đô thị Việt Nam, bài viết đã đề xuất vị trí vạch dừng hợp lý cho 8 trường hợp tương ứng với 6 nhóm nút điều khiển bằng tín hiệu đèn khác nhau theo chu kỳ đèn và cấp đường giao đến nút.

A real case study on transportation scenario comparison

An alternative approach for choice models in transportation: Use of possibility theory for comparison of utilities
This paper proposes a modeling framework that attempts to account for the decision maker’s uncertainty by possibility theory and then the analyst's uncertainty by probability theory. The possibility to probability transformation is performed using the principle of uncertainty invariance. The proposed approach accounts for the quality of information on the changes in choice probability. The paper discusses the thought process, mathematics of possibility theory and probability transformation, and examples.

Stochastic modeling of the number of trees and the number of felled trees in selection stands
This paper solves the problem of forecasting the number of trees in the selection stands predicted for harvesting in a future period, so that the present resource of the number of trees is sustained. This is achieved by stochastic modeling of the number of trees and the number of felled trees and by solving the partial differential equation.

Large neighborhood local search for the p-median problem
In this paper we consider the well known p-median problem. We introduce a new large neighborhood based on ideas of S.Lin and B.W. Kernighan for the graph partition problem. We study the behavior of the local improvement and Ant Colony algorithms with new neighborhood. Computational experiments show that the local improvement algorithm with the neighborhood is fast and finds feasible solutions with small relative error. The Ant Colony algorithm with new neighborhood as a rule finds an optimal solution for computationally difficult test instances.

Spatial infrastructure and productivity in Sweden
These approaches are applied to a cross-section data set of regions in Sweden. These approaches show that metropolitan regions have relatively low road efficiencies in comparison with other regions in Sweden. On the other hand the northern regions are more efficient than the southern regions.

Concept of expert system for modal split in transportation planning
The objective of this paper is to develop a concept of expert system based on the survey of experts' opinions and their experience concerning relations in modal split, on the basis of parameters of transport system demand and transport supply, defined through PT travel time and city size, i.e. mean trip length. This expert system could be of use both to experts and less experienced planners who could apply the knowledge contained in this expert system for further improvement, on operational as well as on strategic level.

Comparison of the efficiency of two algorithms which solve the shortest path problem with an emotional agent
This paper discusses the comparison of the efficiency of two algorithms, by estimation of their complexity. For solving the problem, the Neural Network Crossbar Adaptive Array (NN-CAA) is used as the agent architecture, implementing a model of an emotion. The problem discussed is how to find the shortest path in an environment with n states. The domains concerned are environments with n states, one of which is the starting state, one is the goal state, and some states are undesirable and they should be avoided.

System theoretic approach to sustainable development problems
This paper shows that the concepts and methodology contained in the system theory and operations research are suitable for application in the planning and control of the sustainable development. The sustainable development problems can be represented using the state space concepts, such as the transition of system, from the given initial state to the final state. It is shown that sustainable development represents a specific control problem. The peculiarity of the sustainable development is that the target is to keep the system in the prescribed feasible region of the state space.

Fuzzy decision trees as a decision-making framework in the public sector
Systematic approaches to making decisions in the public sector are becoming very common. Most often, these approaches concern expert decision models. The expansion of the idea of the development of e-participation and e-democracy was influenced by the development of technology. A note on the p−center problem
The p-center problem is to locate p facilities in a network so as to minimize the longest distance between a demand point and its nearest facility. In this paper, we give a construction on a graph G which produces an infinite ascending chain G=G0≤G1≤ G2 ≤ ... of graphs containing G such that given any optimal solution X for the p-center problem on G , X is an optimal solution for the p-center problem on Gi for any i ≥ 1.

A new efficient transformation of the generalized vehicle routing problem into the classical vehicle routing problem
Classical combinatorial optimization problems can be generalized in a natural way by considering a related problem relative to a given partition of the nodes of the graph into node sets. In the literature one can find generalized problems such as: Generalized minimum spanning tree, generalized traveling salesman problem, generalized Steiner tree problem, generalized vehicle routing problem, etc. These generalized problems typically belong to the class of NP-complete problems.
