Optimized parallel prefix sum algorithm on optoelectronic biswapped-torus architecture

The former also has architectural bene¯t of nodesymmetry that leads to advantages such as easy embedding, mapping and designing of routing algorithms. Compared to symmetrical counter-part of biswapped family named BiswappedHyper Hexa-Cell, Biswapped-Torus is cost-e±cient, but requires comparatively more communication moves for mapping prefix sum.

An automated unsupervised discretization method: A novel approach

In this paper, for the first time, a novel discretization scheme is proposed aiming at enabling scalability but also at least three other strong challenges. It is based on a Left-to-Right (LR) scanning process, which partitions the input stream into intervals.

Problems of optimal control for a class of linear and nonlinear systems of the economic model of a cluster

The problem of optimal stabilization for a class of nonlinear systems with coe±cients that depend on the state of the control object is considered. The results obtained for nonlinear systems are used in the construction of control parameters for a three-sector economic cluster on an innite time interval.

Multiple function approximation - A new approach using asymmetric complex fuzzy inference system

This paper proposes an asymmetric complex fuzzy inference system (ACFIS) that improves a conventional fuzzy inference system (FIS) in two ways. First, the proposed model uses the novel neural-net-like aim–object parts, making the model °exible, in terms of model size of parameters and terse asymmetric structure.

Improved movie recommendations based on a hybrid feature combination method

In this paper, we propose a novel hybrid method that combines user–user CF with the attributes of DF to indicate the nearest users, and compare four classiers against each other. This method has been developed through an investigation of ways to reduce the errors in rating predictions based on users' past interactions, which leads to improved prediction accuracy in all four classi¯cation algorithms.

Enhanced symbolic description in analyzing patterns and volatility on the forex market

In this paper, we propose a novel approach for transforming nancial time-series values into symbolic representation based on value changes. Such approach seems to have few advantages over the existing approaches; one of the most obvious is noise reduction in the data and another one is possibility to ¯nd patterns which are universal for investigating dierent currency pairs.
