Thực trạng kiến thức về phòng, chống tác hại thuốc lá của nam sinh viên liên thông y đa khoa trường Đại học Y Dược Thái Bình năm 2020
Nghiên cứu được thiết kế theo nghiên cứu dịch tễ học mô tả thông qua cuộc điều tra cắt ngang có phân tích. Phỏng vấn trực tiếp 434 nam sinh viên liên thông y đa khoa với mục tiêu: Mô tả kiến thức về phòng, chống tác hại thuốc lá của nam sinh viên liên thông y đa khoa trường Đại học Y Dược Thái Bình năm 2020.

Nghiên cứu một số chỉ số sinh lý tuần hoàn và hô hấp của học sinh THPT dân tộc Tày, Nùng huyện Bình Gia, tỉnh Lạng Sơn
Nghiên cứu các chỉ số sinh lý tuần hoàn và hô hấp tiến hành trên 491 học sinh nam và nữ lứa tuổi THPT (từ 16 đến 18) dân tộc Tày (42,77%), Nùng (57,23%) thuộc huyện Bình Gia, tỉnh Lạng Sơn. Mục tiêu nghiên cứu của công trình là xác định một số chỉ số sinh học của nam, nữ học sinh lứa tuổi 16-18, góp phần xây dựng các giá trị sinh học người Việt Nam trong giai đoạn hiện nay.

Perceived stress and its’ association with college students
Stress refers to the perceived or actual threat on physical and/or psychological homeostasis of the human body. Disrupted homeostasis elicits the so called “stress response”, meaning the activation of central and peripheral neuroendocrine mechanisms responsible for various adaptive responses and behaviors. PSS was originally developed as a 14-item scale that assess the perception of stressful experiences by asking the respondent to rate the frequency of his/her feelings and thoughts related to events and situations that occurred over the previous month. Stress mainly refers to the perceived or actual threat to the physical and/or psychological homeostasis of the human body.

Multiple drilling combined with simvastatin versus multiple drilling alone for the treatment of avascular osteonecrosis of the femoral head: 3-year follow-up study
Multiple small drilling for core decompression is widely used to preserve the femoral head in patients with avascular necrosis of the femoral head (ANFH). Nevertheless, the clinical outcome remains controversial. Simvastatin has been demonstrated to promote bone formation and reduce bone adsorption.

Early Endothelial Progenitor Cells (eEPCs) in systemic sclerosis (SSc) - dynamics of cellular regeneration and mesenchymal transdifferentiation
Patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) are endagered by tissue fibrosis and by microvasculopathy, with the latter caused by endothelial cell expansion/proliferation. SSc-associated fibrosis potentially results from mesenchymal transdifferentiation of endothelial cells.

Surveys of patient satisfaction and their willingness to return can be used for the optimization of processes, improving their quality, and increasing the satisfaction and loyalty in customers. This study looked at the factors significantly associated with patient satisfaction after primary total hip replacement (THR), and which affect the patients’ willingness to return to the same hospital for future treatment, even when unrelated to their THR.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation and joint structural deterioration. Hypophosphatasia and the risk of atypical femur fractures: A case-control study

Are online symptoms checkers useful for patients with inflammatory arthritis
Online symptom checkers are increasingly used by patients however there is little published evidence of their effectiveness in real patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate how patients with inflammatory arthritis and inflammatory arthralgia use the internet to look for health information and to assess the advice given and diagnoses suggested by the NHS and WebMD symptom checkers in relation to the patients’ actual diagnoses.

A large two-centre study in to rates of influenza and pneumococcal vaccination and infection burden in rheumatoid arthritis in the UK
Infections are a common complication of RA with associated morbidity and mortality. The aetiology of increased risk is complex and multifactorial. Despite this, strategies to mitigate against risk of infection including vaccination are not always addressed in primary or secondary care with wide variation in practice from multiple small single centre audits.
