Master Thesis in Economics: Applying the Principal - Agent Theory to Company Succession at SMEs

The findings in the dissertation support the conclusion that the fundamental phases proposed by the St. Gallen succession model are suited as a basic structure in a company transfer. Nonetheless, the possible solutions in the principal-agent theory appear to be appropriate as support for the succession process. In addition, it is possible to identify other process-supporting measures, which can be considered from the perspective of the transferring party and the acquiring party. In a consolidated form, these measures result in a model of company succession. To consult more Economic essay sample, please see at: Bộ Luận Văn Thạc Sĩ Kinh tế.

Master Thesis in Economics: To Identify Service Quality Gaps in the Irish Financial Services Industry

Despite the financial industry crash of 2008 not just in Ireland but on a global scale, the financial services industry remains a key cornerstone of the Irish economy and an important element of the Irish Government’s foreign direct investment strategy. However, research has been relatively limited in the context of the Irish Financial services industry, in terms of gaps in service quality and any potential opportunities that may exist. This study therefore lends itself well towards the analysis of the industry and researching improvements and opportunities in what remains a globally competitive industry. Due to the exploratory nature of the research subject a qualitative approach was taken towards this study. This involved conducting four in-depth interviews with key elements within the industry in Ireland namely on the Fund Administration side and the Investment Manager side. Therefore the interviews covered the service provider side (Fund Administrators) and the customer/service user side (Investment Managers). To consult more Economic essay sample, please see at: Bộ Luận Văn Thạc Sĩ Kinh tế.

Research data was taken from an online survey carried out on students that had completed a work placement in the last round of placements from DBS, DIT and WIT higher educational institutes. Four one-to-one interviews were also carried out with students that had completed placements. To strengthen the research, various journals and literature on internships were reviewed. To consult more Economic essay sample, please see at: Bộ Luận Văn Thạc Sĩ Kinh tế.

With the critical success factors defined, the researcher determined that a mixed‐method survey instrument would be used encompassing both qualitative and quantitative questions. The survey was constructed using the conclusions from the literature review and various polls in order for the most accurate survey instrument possible to be constructed. This survey was created online and received a total of 362 responses with 250 respondents making it to the end of the survey. Master Thesis in Economics: The case of French SMEs in the wine Industry going to ASEAN countries

Nowadays, the concept of globalization seems reduced to the size of the market and, export is only one aspect of the phenomenon of globalization. In global industries, it is now the most competitive positions and bases of competitiveness which should be established worldwide. Therefore, globalization raises strategies to become more global rather than local. Those strategies consist in expanding and coordinating all activities of the company worldwide. In a first time, to understand why SMEs internationalize, the researcher will deal with the traditional model of the internationalization of firms (the Uppsala model). And then, more recently, new models of internationalization have been developed. These models, created following an increase of the extent of the phenomenon of the International New Ventures, revolve around the concepts of resources and skills, network and knowledge. In a more recent context of economic globalization and competition, some SMEs establish real strategies of globalization, particularly by inserting themselves in network (the Network theory). To consult more Economic essay sample, please see at: Bộ Luận Văn Thạc Sĩ Kinh tế.

In today’s world, the way business and organisations deal with their procedure of lading their work is more project driven and moreover they are driven by sustainability goals than ever before. Especially by examining, the comprehensive importance of stakeholders in project management processes. Hence the research aims to study the influence of stakeholder in providing positive contributions and their impact analysis for project management practices. Several participants or stakeholders were selected who are working on projects related to sustainability goals as their prime concern, out of which four were finalised. An important finding that was discovered that different stakeholders had different perspectives related to the three performance indicators of sustainability which is People, Planet and Profit, but still more significance was given to the economic factors and the inclusion of environmental and social aspects were rarely measured in the management and delivery of their projects, although they categorise their projects as sustainable. To consult more Economic essay sample, please see at: Bộ Luận Văn Thạc Sĩ Kinh tế.

Master Thesis in Economics: Social Media Strategies Leveraging Knowledge Management to Create New Knowledge

For hundreds of years, business people have been transmitting their wisdom generation to generation. In the middle 1990’s companies started to create units focused in managing their knowledge. Nowadays, Knowledge Management is still a relatively new discipline focused in developing the main competitive advantage that organizations have: the intellectual assets. Organizations recognise that Social Media can be enormously used to influence their customers. However, they exactly do not know how to confront this new tool. Therefore, how to effectively develop a SM strategy is today a major issue for businesses. This research focuses on showing how organisation should implement their Social Media strategies in order to maximise their knowledge creation. Data was collected using a web survey distributed among experts and practitioners in the area of Knowledge Management in order to review the literature about knowledge creation and strategy implementation. The findings show that Social Media is a positive tool to create knowledge and the link between the Knowledge Management strategy and the corporate strategy is still valid. This study also provides some recommendations for a successful implementation of Social Media strategy and areas for future research. To consult more Economic essay sample, please see at: Bộ Luận Văn Thạc Sĩ Kinh tế.
