Rack and Stack
Coordinating the procurement and installation of central office (CO) bays can be costly and time consuming. To alleviate this situation, ADC offers pre-assembled CO bays for the PG-Flex™ subscriber carrier system. This convenient Rack and Stack product facilitates quick and easy deployment and provides rapid feeder relief. ADC can also assist with the engineering, design and material procurement necessary to meet specific customer requirements.
Racks are designed to meet all applicable Bellcore and NEBS standards. Prewired and tested bays ensure product quality and consistency enabling quick deployment of systems to rapidly solve copper pair shortage issues. Racks are fully warranted – for five years – and are supported by ADC’s expansive technical support organization. Interconnect drawings, installation guidelines and equipment specifications are provided with each rack to facilitate quick, trouble-free installation. Rack and Stack products are cost effective due to a flexible design that enables you to accommodate future capacity requirements.

PG-Flex Central Office Rack
Available Racks: · 7, 9, 11.6 ft
· 12” and 15” lineups · Colors: blue, gray

Fuse Panels:
· Shelves are wired for split-battery feed
Fuse panels are available from various manufacturers
Wiring:
· Modular – all connections made using mate and lock, subminiature or Amphenol connectors. Interconnection to the CO is modular. (Kits are available to add shelves to a partially-equipped rack.)
· Hardwired – all connections hardwired. Interconnection to the CO for subscriber terminations is via Amphenol connectors; all other terminations must be wire wrapped on site.
